Jackie McAngus – in early December Jackie’s machine started to run really slow, she called me and asked what it was… I told her right away it was her hard drive dying but needed to see it first to confirm. The next day she did just that and verified that is was the hard drive and needed to be sent to Apple for repair, lucky for her she had Apple Care the the repair cost would be free, except for shipping and a service fee.
But before we sent it away we made sure she had a full copy of the data with “Time Machine”. This was very important because when the machine came back it was completely empty. If we had not done her copy before it left she would of have nothing.
Everyone should have a full copy of their computer copied to Time Machine on a daily basis !
